2017 MESA RESULTS!
Phoenix Christian Preparatory School participated in its first MESA competition at the University of Arizona on Saturday, April 22nd. Our middle school and high school teams did amazing!
The middle school team took 9th overall out of 42 schools. Pictured here is the 6th Place team with "It's Complicated" competition.
Picture here is the 3rd Place Winners of the Golf Ball Delivery Challenge. The high school team took 6th overall out of thirteen high school teams from all over the State of Arizona.
Picture here is the 3rd Place Winners of the Duct Tape Challenge.
2nd Place Winners of the PVC Bridge Challenge. The students had to design a bridge which could hold 150 pounds built completely out of 1/2" PVC pipe. The students were given only 45 minutes to rebuild their bridges. Our students were able to do this in 35 minutes with only two students!
4th place winners of the solar car competition with three separate challenges for the car to race in (straightest alignment, fastest speed, and the greatest torque for moving objects out of its way.
