Can the universe "create" itself like Stephen Hawking said? How can math create anything?

Just today (October 16, 2017), scientists discovered how the creation of the elements like gold are formed by the collision of two neutron stars. This collision also allowed scientists to measure for the first time, gravitational waves that Albert Einstein predicted existed way back in 1916, but only recently could we measure with technology as early as 2016.
The account of Genesis is simply the declaration that God created the universe and everything contained in it without going into details how He did it. In fact, the first chapter of Genesis states that God "spoke the worlds into existence", which may explain the current thoughts of string theory.
String Theory - Think of a guitar string that has been tuned by stretching the string under tension across the guitar. Depending on how the string is plucked and how much tension is in the string, different musical notes will be created by the string. These musical notes could be said to be excitation modes of that guitar string under tension. In a similar manner, in string theory, the elementary particles we observe in particle accelerators could be thought of as the "musical notes" or excitation modes of elementary strings.

What does this prove? God declares in Genesis Chapter 1 that He spoke the creation of everything into existence, therefore, the evidence is now being discovered at the elementary particle level. In simple terms, these "excitation modes" of "elementary strings" prove everything was created much like a song being sung or a voice speaking everything into existence just like the Bible states.
Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
I have often wondered why God decided to "speak" creation into existence instead of by thought or motion, especially since there was no one or anything for that matter to hear Him speak. I truly believe God wanted to leave scientific evidence that could be measured by today's scientists. No longer do we need to take the account of Creation by faith alone, but also by scientific and measurable data! PRAISE GOD!
I am interested in your thoughts on this, so comment below.

This video is extremely informative and well put together. According to this video (correct me if I'm wrong). From a black hole, where matter is under an extreme gravitational pull and time ceases to exist, subatomic particles appeared (which is within the laws of nature) which occurred in the perfect sequence in order for positive and negative energy to be created. The positive energy became the mass and energy (which is the same according to Einstein) and the negative energy became the space. (This accounts for the three things necessary for a universe: matter, energy, and space.)
If I had only listened to this video, I would believe this possible, however, this does not answer the question on how the different elements are created. Elements are made up of only one type of atom (Study.com 3.2). This means that the so called positive energy created, caused all the elements. This would require the 'Big Bang' to create the over 100 different types of atoms from subatomic particles which appear and disappear as they please. It is highly unlikely that this is possible. (I could be very wrong about this)
Einsteins math proved that mass and energy were the same. This definitely furthered the explanation that the 'Big Bang' actually happened. According to scientists dating back to before the Vikings, the world is far different than we originally believed it to be. Hawking would argue that this can help his case that a supernatural being had nothing to do with this (If we've been wrong about almost everything before, why would be right now?) If the negative and positive energy add together to equal 0, then it is quite possible that Hawking is correct on this matter. However, (I am going off the digging a hole and a hill simultaneously symbol) if the positive energy (matter and energy) is within the negative energy (space), wouldn't they cancel out back into a black hole? Or is that what the universe is doing, except slowly? If the universe is slowly decaying back into its form before the 'Big Bang', then why did it take so quickly to form?
Question: According to the laws of Biogenesis, life cannot come from non-life forms (http://www.creationscience.com/onlinebook/LifeSciences4.html). If the 'Big Bang' only created energy and space, then how did life form?
(This is according to Hawking, of course, I believe the Genesis creation story)
